We are financed solely by donations, the sponsorship of horses (and donkeys!) and the fundraising efforts of our supporters.
Raising funds locally has become very difficult due to the financial situation in this part of Spain. The last two years have been tough with a notable drop in visitors and other hardships due to the pandemic.
Our current challenge is to finance our most basic needs which are feed and hay bills, vets bills and land rents.
The sanctuary is a registered charity in Spain called Asociacion Ayuda Caballos Gredos
